Christma Pajamas
I continued the family tradition this year with matching jammas! I only had time to do pants this year, but we enjoyed them!
Wreath
I made this wreath based on a blog tutorial that one of my friend's found. I love the way it turned out. If you want to make one of these, here are a few guidelines:
1 1/2 yards burlap (any color)
18 in wire or foam wreath (or smaller--but then you need less fabric)
Scrap fabric and buttons for fabric flowers.
Cut the burlap into long strips, then each long strip into 3rds so they are about 16 inches long. Tie the burlap strips around the wire wreath form (double knot). Continue all the way around, pushing each knotted piece tight so they become fluffy.
Glue fabric flowers on and enjoy! (to make flowers, I took 8 inch and 6 inch circles and folded the fabric to the center and then attached a button or jingle bell.
Play silks
I was first exposed to playsilks by my SIL Jennifer. She made Benji some when he was just over a year old. He loved them! I decided to make them as give aways for Ben's birthday and also for some Christmas gifts.
Help!
Even sewers need help. My mom came and was trying to fix my serger. We are still stumped. Stupid serger.
Book Covers
My friend Lisa asked me to make some paperback book covers for her. With a 1/2 yard, I was able to make 4! Awesome!
